Multi-Monitor DisplaysCubix’s multi-screen displays offer tremendous flexibility, quality and affordability. Standard configurations range from two displays to 6 displays per desktop. Cubix multi-screen displays built with top-of-the-line Samsung LCDs, feature the world’s best LCD quality. A single unified stand and ultra-thin screen bezels free up valuable desktop space. CubixView suite provides operators with unparalleled multiple display management tools and outstanding instrument control. Cubix multi-monitor displays with CubixView can be used with any vendor's computer system. Of course, LaserBlades are the preferred platform. CubixView provides the following benefits:
Windows normally has amnesia and forgets, after shutdown, where it assigned each application across multiple screens. CubixView captures multiple screen setups and stores them so that when you boot up your system, the positions and sizes of your icons are restored to wherever you last placed them on your displays. This eliminates the time-consuming tasks of dragging and carefully placing icons on various multiple screens every time you boot up.
Another Windows limitation is that the taskbar resides only on the primary screen. The taskbar gets as crowded as a Friday afternoon freeway when you open up a lot of applications and windows. CubixView populates a taskbar on each display, thus assigning a relationship between the application and the screen it runs on. This also eliminates taskbar congestion on the primary display.
Rather than dragging and resizing windows across various screens, use the CubixView shortcut utility to quickly move windows between monitors or maximize a window to the desktop using additional window buttons. It takes only two clicks to move any application to the display of your choice.
LaserCubes can be configured with 12 or more graphics ports supporting 12 or more monitors for each Digital Cockpit Operator. CubixView provides a custom display settings applet with support for configuring more than 10 monitors.
CubixView can blank secondary monitors when the screen saver is running, or run additional screensavers on secondary monitors.
CubixView has an option for multiple screen management of Linux applications.
In high security environments there are often independent secure networks where network traffic cannot co-mingle with other networks. These multiple independent network paths often lead to a common Digital Cockpit Operator, who wants to display information across his multiple screen displays. CubixView has a unique security option that prevents cutting and paste screen information from one display to another, eliminating the possibility of cross migration of screen information from one secure network to another. Cut and paste functions are locked down tight.
Digital Cockpit Operators may want to access dozens of LaserBlade application servers through multiple LaserBlade video gateway blades. One video gateway blade may have a number of video surveillance feeds going to multiple displays, while another video gateway might be serving up dozens of processor intensive applications or applications from independent secure networks. CubixView DC has an option to manage multiple LaserBlade video gateway blades seamlessly through a single mouse and keyboard, eliminating the need for a desktop KVM switch and the hassle of manually switching from one environment to another.
CubixView has many more taskbar, mirroring, and shortcut controls for the Digital Cockpit Operator. All CubixView tools are aimed at making the Digital Cockpit Operator as productive as possible. Multi-monitor display options include:
